This wine is engagingly fresh with a beautiful nose of cherries and plums, backed up with delicious ripe berry fruit, dried fig and vanilla. It’s well structured on the palate with a hint of spice. The tannins are lively but silky and the finish firm and persistent.
Haut-Médoc from the nouvelle vague: stylish and charismatic but still accessible. This ‘little sister’ comes from a younger vineyard next to Clos la Bohème called ‘Nexon’, yet to be fair there’s little that’s ‘petite’ about this impressive wine.
